In this environment, members and policyholders need someone they can turn to for helpful and accurate information. Based on this situation, Zenkyoren introduced a Life Adviser system in 1994. As of the end of March 2014, 22,037 life advisers were helping members and policyholders throughout the country. Life advisers not only serve as a pipeline between members/ policyholders and the primary societies, they also provide sound advice and information on all aspects of members’ and policyholders’ insurance needs from the members’ and policyholders’ standpoint. In addition, they undertake a host of activities aimed at ensuring total member and policyholder satisfaction.Insurance OfferedLife Advisers—Trained Insurance ConsultantsLife Advisers Representing the Primary SocietiesServe as a consultant with specialized knowledge1Rekindle the participatory spirit of cooperative societies and insurance2Facilitate formation of networks and development of regional communities3The Role of a Life Adviser (LA)ANNUAL REPORT 201409
